Saturday Project Class Semester 1 "Tulipana Cottage"

Saturdays Slow Stitching Open Class Semester 1, 2027

DATES: 20th February, 20th March, 17th April, 29th May

We’re calling our first brand new project for 2027 “TULIPANA COTTAGE”. 

It’s named after a sun-drenched country garden with a sweeping expanse of bright pink tulips.
This idyllic landscape, which exists in our imagination, will be the inspiration for our series of 4 monthly classes.

Our project will be created using our signature Forage style of combining simple stitches with reclaimed fabric.

We’re going to stitch a triptych of small (40x40cm) artworks which will be based upon a picturesque countryside scene - a blooming garden, a pond, a woodland all surround an ivy clad cottage.

We’re going to concentrate our attention on specific details in that scene and “magnify” them… zoom in, get closer and capture the small details that can be seen upon closer examination.

You’ll choose the palette of 4 colours to work with and a full kit to complete the whole project will be provided in the first class.

Forage In-House Class Terms and Conditions:

*Booking price includes 4 classes plus any materials specified in the class information

*Classes are non-refundable. As there is a zoom class for this project, you will be welcome to watch a recording of the zoom to enable you to keep up.

*Our classes are run from our studio at 39/7 Narabang Way, Belrose, 2085. They are 5 hours, 10am-3pm and include morning tea (byo lunch). Parking and disabled parking are available.

*We have two semesters per year and this is our Semester 1 project.
