Postge Stamp Sampler Summer School 8th February 2026

Why not take a day out of the heat and come to the Forage Summer School for a day of stitching in the air-conditioned comfort of our Belrose studio in Sydney!

The workshop run from 10am-3pm on Sunday 8th February 2026 and include morning/afternoon tea and lunch. 

In this workshop Lara will go through the stitches used in this sampler and demonstrate some of the combinations you will be able to use.  We'll go through all of the designs and how they've been put together, as well as talking about ways you can add your own touches.

This project is suitable to beginner embroiderers up to advanced, and you'll be able to make choices depending on your preferences.

There are some different options:

The workshop price includes our pattern, printed linen panel, seed beads and needles. If you have already purchased the pattern and linen panel kit, you can opt for the workshop only.

Flexible thread options: Lara used Au Ver a Soie silk stranded threads for the original sampler. If you have these and want to use them, bring them along.  If you have a collection of DMC stranded embroidery cotton you can bring that and use it.

We have curated a collection of 15 DMC threads in perfect colours for the project which you can order when booking. (Photo is not the exact colours as the threads haven't arrived in the studio yet, but they will be beautiful!)

Everyone will have access to our thread bar of Wonderfil perle 8 threads. Some of the designs are too fine for perle 8 and will need stranded thread.
