Postage Stamp Embroidery Pattern - Easter Sampler

This is a brand new design from our Postage Stamp Embroideries series.  There are 16 easter motifs in your pattern which includes a piece of linen printed with the postage-stamp sized boxes ready for you to add the designs.

The Postage Stamp Embroideries are designed so that they can be framed in a 14" quilting or embroidery hoop - you might want to swap them out depending on the season!

Very simple stitches are used in this project: Satin stitch, long and short stitch, french knots, chain stitch, lazy daisies, backstitch and fly stitch, so it's suitable for beginners to advanced.

The original design is stitched in Au ver a Soie's stranded embroidery thread, Soie d'Alger and the thread numbers are listed in the pattern.  There is also a DMC conversion in the booklet and a DMC thread set is available from us.

Available for separate purchase is the Au ver a Soie metallic thread set "Spring". These metallics have been used throughout the design.

There are little buttons, sequins, beads, silk thread and other bits and pieces appliqued within the stitcheries - these can be swapped out for what you have on hand.
