This vintage French tin lid once protected the delicate Crêpes Dentelles “Les Gavottes”, a celebrated speciality of Quimper in Brittany. Dating to around the 1930s–1950s, it features charming Art Deco typography and an illustration of a couple in traditional Breton costume, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region. 

Beautifully worn with the gentle patina of age, it is a delightful piece of French culinary and advertising history, perfect for display in a kitchen, pantry or collection of vintage French ephemera.

It measures 17x11x1cm and dates from the 1930’s.
