This is a charming Limoges porcelain brooch from France, most likely dating to the 1940s–1960s.

It measures 4cm across. 

The front consists of a small hand-painted porcelain plaque decorated with pink roses, blue forget-me-not style flowers and a soft pink background.

The plaque is mounted in a gilt-metal twisted rope frame, a style commonly used for souvenir and gift jewellery in the mid-20th century.

The reverse is clearly marked “LIMOGES FRANCE” which identifies the porcelain as having been made in or for the famous porcelain-producing region around Limoges in central France.
