These are antique French-made buttons associated with Maurice Bourdon of Paris, a button manufacturer and supplier active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
One button also carries “Pescare, Alger”, indicating it was retailed or supplied through Algiers during the period when Algeria was part of French North Africa.
We would estimate these date of these to be approximately 1880–1910, with a possibility extending into the 1920s based on the construction:
• Two-piece brass gilt button backs
• Wire shanks soldered to the back
• Maker’s marks stamped around the reverse
