Item 26-174

This strip of very old insertion lace has been salvaged from a garment, probably a blouse or nightgown.
There is still a button attached in the centre. The cotton is very soft from wear.
Each piece, either side of the button closure measures approximately 50cm and the width of the insertion lace is 6cm.
Found in France.
