Item 26-098 Handkerchief Event

Matching set of 4 white cotton handkerchiefs with a dark green “M” monogram.
They each measure 40x40cm

The French word for handkerchief is “mouchoir”, which might explain the reason we find so many hankies with an “M” monogrammed on them.
Or maybe it means “Madame” or “Monsieur”??

These handkerchiefs come from our collection amassed over many years of foraging in French flea markets and brocantes.

We like to freshen them up with a soak in the bathtub, before they dance in the Sydney sunshine on our clothesline.
They are then ironed and stashed away in our armoire, ready to be used as the perfect size/weight background for our SlowStitch projects.

Please note: these are vintage items and may still have age related wear and marks despite having been laundered.
