Regardless of the creator’s intention, this piece is truly a remarkable creation that we found in Belgium.
We really can’t be sure what the intended purpose was for this beautiful piece of handwork…. Perhaps it’s ecclesiastical?
A combination of different weights of linen threads which have been used in traditional lace making methods.
It measures approximately 50 x 50cm and simply hanging it as is would be a perfect way to display such extraordinary workmanship.
