This silk scarf was found with a dealer in France who specializes in garments from the 1800’s.
We fell in love with the intricacies of the design and the incredible sheen of the fine silk fibres.
There is some damage to the silk fibres on some of the fold marks due to the length of time such a fragile piece had been stored.
It measures approximately 1.5m in length and 45cm in width.
