These are a really special find!
The flax for this linen was home grown and then hand spun.
A set of 2 hand towels were then stitched for a bridal trousseau sometime in the early 20th century. They have since been passed down within the same family.
Age spots exist on the linen from storage.
They have never been used.
Each hand towel measures 40 x 30cm
