PROJECT:
"Market Garden" is a charming hand stitched sampler-style quilt hanging using reclaimed quilt pieces, new fabrics, applique and embroidered floral motifs in a farm/garden theme.

ABOUT LISA MATTOCK:

Lisa Mattock’s projects are about seeking out reclaimed and vintage textile treasures and upcycling them into beautiful pieces that speak to the soul of the stitcher. 

A lifelong hand stitcher, and pioneer of the SlowStitching movement, Lisa has a passion for discovering and collecting reclaimed fabrics and embellishments. Her signature style of creating intricate layered textile artworks has been featured in magazines and shows in Australia and internationally, with regular teaching tours to the USA, France and the UK.
