The monograms featured in this “special event” as part of our weekly FLEA MARKET have been collected by us, over many years of foraging in France. 
They are hand stitched treasures from yesteryear and we’ve salvaged them from household linens like bed sheets, tea towels, aprons, and table napery.

Description: 

A beautiful piece of fine French white linen, hand embroidered with two ornate whitework initials. The elaborate scrolling letters are worked with fine satin and outline stitching, typical of carefully prepared French trousseau.

There remains a generous amount of usable linen surrounding the embroidery. Some light age marks add to its authentic character.
