The monograms featured in this “special event” as part of our weekly FLEA MARKET have been collected by us, over many years of foraging in France.
They are hand stitched treasures from yesteryear and we’ve salvaged them from household linens like bed sheets, tea towels, aprons, and table napery.

Description:
A lovely piece of fine antique French linen, featuring a large hand-embroidered monogram in traditional deep red thread. The beautifully worked linear stitching and generous scale of the initials make this a striking example. The original drawn-thread hem and deep lower border have also been retained. Likely late 19th to early 20th century.
