Vintage Embroidered Linen & Crochet Mat — c.1930s–50s

A lovely vintage cream linen mat featuring bold hand-embroidered golden daffodil flowers, green foliage and tiny purple blooms, accented with bright blue cross-stitch. Finished with a decorative beige crochet-lace edging. 

The generous satin-stitch embroidery gives the flowers wonderful texture and dimension.
