Vintage Embroidered Bird & Flower Linen 

c.1930s–50s

Vintage white linen cloth that we found in France. 

It features a hand-embroidered songbird perched amongst flowering branches. Worked in colourful cotton threads in red, green, brown and yellow, with a large stylised flower and buds. Finished with a delicate crocheted/picot-style edging around the softly rounded corners.

Composition: Linen with cotton hand embroidery and thread edging.
