Collection of Antique Lace Fragments

c.1900–1930

A lovely group of three vintage lace pieces, each with a different character. The collection includes a beautifully aged ecru floral lace fragment with elaborate raised motifs, a narrow cream insertion featuring embroidered oval details and tiny openwork, and a white curved floral lace piece that may originally have formed part of a collar or garment neckline.

Composition: Predominantly fine cotton thread; a mixture of machine-made embroidered/chemical-style lace and decorative insertion lace.
