Antique French Lace Trim

A beautiful length of fine cream lace, measuring 145 x 4cm. 

This piece is likely French and dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The lace has an exceptionally delicate net ground with scrolling floral motifs, finely worked leaves and a deep scalloped edge. The close-up shows the intricacy of the construction and the lovely lustrous thread.
