Vintage Embroidered Linen Handkerchiefs 

A lovely matching pair of fine white linen handkerchiefs, probably dating from around the 1930s–50s. 

Each features an elaborate corner of white-on-white floral embroidery, worked with satin and outline stitching over a fine openwork/net ground, finished with a softly scalloped embroidered edge. Tiny decorative drawn-thread or embroidered details continue around the hems.

The fine linen and restrained monochrome embroidery give these a particularly elegant feel. Some gentle age-related marks are visible, consistent with vintage textiles.
