Pair of Antique Handmade Lace Panels – c.1900–1920

A lovely matching pair of handmade cream cotton lace panels, each approximately 39×13 cm. 

Worked with prominent dimensional floral medallions surrounded by knotted openwork netting and decorative edging. The raised petals and tiny knotted details give these pieces wonderful texture. 

Likely originally made as decorative inserts or trims for household linen or clothing.

Some breaks and loosened threads consistent with age.
