Antique French Button Sample Card – c.1920s–30s

A wonderful original French haberdashery or manufacturer’s sample card, displaying dozens of numbered buttons in assorted sizes, colours and styles. The buttons remain hand-tied to their original pink reference card, complete with printed stock numbers and handwritten size notations. Several are marked “GALLIA – ÉPERNAY”, adding lovely French provenance.

The board measures 43 x 26cm 

A fabulous piece of textile and haberdashery history, with the wear, missing buttons and patina of a genuine working sample card.
