Favourite Things Quilt Group Zoom (Wholesale Australia)

Dates for this series: Wednesdays, 8th July, 5th August, 9th September, 7th October, 4th November and 9th December.

The Favourite Things Project

A 14 block quilt using foraged materials on vintage placemats, doilies and plain-centred textile pieces. Lisa has highlighted 14 of her Favourite Things on the blocks which include applique, embroidery and collage. There’s lots of room for self expression - if your favourite pet is a poodle, not a duck you’ll be encouraged to swap it out - this is about your favourite things!

Group zoom workshops with Forage give you the opportunity to have a guest tutor available to you without the usual constraints of location and travel costs.

These are offered as a live, one hour zoom class in your studio once a month for 6 months. The wholesale price for this is $35 per person, per class ($210 per person for the 6 class series).  Minimum number is 10 participants, and extras above this number can be purchased individually.

How it will work:

A workshop envelope and printed handout for each class will be provided and you can hand these out at the beginning of each class. These will be sent to your studio before the first zoom. 

The zoom will last for one hour and will include an overview of that month's blocks, techniques, show and tell. Customers are invited to send photos of their progress. These will be uploaded onto the zoom presentation and Lisa will give feedback and advice to each person on their work.

There will also be a Technique Library available with short videos of all techniques discussed.

The School Platform:

Your customers will have access to a special area exclusive to you, where they will be able to use the Technique Library recordings and re-watch recordings of the zoom classes (if they were away, for example, the can catch up by watching the recording)

Shop Support:

We will provide a PDF flyer to advertise your class, a list of required materials and an introduction/preparation sheet to send out to your participants when they book.

We will discuss kits with you as far as what you might want to provide in your shop or have for purchase, or kits that we are able to provide at an extra cost if appropriate to the class.

We will have a "practice zoom" with you prior to the class to make sure that the equipment and setup are working as they should, resolve any technical issues.

How to Book:

The dates for this class are set as above.  Decide which timeslot you would like, and purchase that timeslot with 10 participants (this is the minimum and should be the first booking).  If you have more than 10, or more people book in later, just buy the number of "Extra Participants" as you go along.

*Minimum participants is 10 - the price will remain the same if there are fewer than 10 participants booked in. We are unable to refund if you are unable to fill the class.

*Latestarters are welcome and will be able to watch recordings of missed classes on the School platform.  The price of 6 workshops will remain the same for that person.

*Customer cancellations are not able to be refunded by us, but the place can be transferred to another customer.

*Technical requirements and working equipment in the studio are your responsibility. We are not responsible for loss of connectivity or technical failures at the buyer's end.

*The recordings of zoom lesson and Technique Library will be available to all participants for one month after the final class.

*We are charging a wholesale price for this service, the price charged to your customers is your decision - it is expected that you will make a profit.

*You will need to provide copies of patterns to participants signing up after we've posted them out.  We will contact you for final numbers before posting.

*The class link and zoom link are licensed exclusively to the purchase for this particular session of classes. Sharing the links with unauthorised third party persons or participants, unpaid persons is strictly prohibited.

*Recording of the zooms is strictly prohibited (either on a computer, device or smartphone)

*All stitching techniques, patterns and instructional materials provided remain the intellectual property of Forage by L M Pty Ltd and may not be resold after the initial sale to class participants.

*If Forage need to cancel an individual class for any reason, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule, or offered a full refund.

*In the case of an Australia Post catastrophe and the patterns don't arrive in time for the first class, Forage will send a PDF for you to print out.
