Au Ver A Soie D'Alger - 9 x Stranded Silk & 1 Metalic Thread Set

The mix of threads in this set are an exclusive collaboration by Au Ver a Soie (Paris) and Forage (Sydney).  The 9 colours were chosen by us to compliment our projects and provide a wide yet cohesive collection.

Soie D'Alger is a stranded silk thread which can be used for all types of embroidery or tapestry. There are  strands which are loosely plied and easy to separate. The threads are made of the best quality spun silk (called strusas) which gives them unrivalled regularity, lustre and softness. The 9 skeins are each 5 metres.

In addition the set includes a lovely complementary French Au Ver A Soie Metalic Spool.
