Sea Garden Online Workshop

This is an online workshop consisting of 3 live zoom lessons and a full kit of materials.

Sea Garden is an exciting new project by Lisa Mattock which includes a beautiful variety of techniques and materials.  Over three monthly workshops you'll complete a panel representing underwater textures, reflections and sea life in stunning colours.

Lisa will guide you through design elements and layout, stitching, beading and embroidery techniques to make a textile artwork you'll be proud of!

The workshop is suitable for beginner to advanced students - you'll earn via 3 live zoom classes with Lisa Mattock and Lara Moo who will guide you through the process and techniques as well as giving you the opportunity to see what others in the class are doing. Recordings of the classes will be permanently available for you to refer back to.

KIT: The price includes a very substantial kit of materials including a set of 7 Wonderfil threads, needle set, beads, sequins, coloured silks, antique linen and fabric packs - you'll only need your basic sewing kit to get started. Your kit will be posted within a few days of signing up and postage is included in the class price.  IMPORTANT: Please make sure your mailing address is correct on our Shopify store. This is the address your kit will be posted to.

WHEN ARE THE LIVE CLASSES? Dates of the Zoom classes in 2026 are 26th September, 24th October, and 21st November. They will commence at 8am Sydney time. A reminder and time conversion will be emailed each month.

CAN I START AFTER THE FIRST CLASS? Yes you can.  Recordings of all of the live zoom classes will be made permanently available to you on your account on our School of SlowStitching.
