Pure Silver Thread - Item 23497

A spool of very fine pure silver thread, found in France. 

It was probably made to be used in religious vestments and decorative stitching purposes within the church or military. 

So wonderful to find such good quality! 

There is some oxidation is due to age. 

Spool is completely full and measures 13x6cm
