If you've booked in to the Forage Huntsville workshops with Lisa Mattock and Connie Palmer, you might like to add on an extra two days to make a beautiful French Ribbon Embroidery Monogram with Audra Kennedy (This could even be used to include in your projects done with Lisa and Connie!)
Local to Huntsville, AL, Audra Kennedy is an award winning quilt maker with a passion for embroidery.
She’s excited to share her silk ribbon embroidery technique as she shows you how to embroider your initial based on an antique French font.
You’ll use a base of white handkerchief linen to create your design and Audra will provide you with a full kit - your chosen initial will be traced on the linen and additional silk ribbons will be available for purchase.
This class will run for two days and includes your lunch and tuition.
Please bring with you stretcher bars, frame or embroidery hoop, and usual class stitching supplies such as scissors.
