Blue Mountains Retreat 2024 DEPOSIT

We're thrilled to have Julie Paterson as our guest artist at the June 2024 Forage Retreats.  Julie is a renowned textile artist and designer with her own brand fabric prints called "Cloth".

Julie and Lisa will be collaborating their creative efforts: Julie on her Community Garden workshop, where everybody gets to contribute to the design of the final printed fabric, and Lisa to embellish, stitch and applieque it. You'll work with both artists to create a one of a kind project such as lampshade, jacket etc. with your finished design. Staying at the beautiful Carrington Hotel in the Blue Mountains, we'll have 4 days in the ballroom to create a stunning work which combines Julie's Community Garden Project and Lisa's gorgeous SlowStitching.  The workshop includes a kit of all the materials you'll need, a total of 4 workshop days, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, morning tea, afteroon tea, and a welcome dinner.
