Measuring 120x17cm this piece has been reclaimed from the bottom of a silk petticoat. There is approximately an inch strip left of the silk attached to the lace.
Two piece of traditional “le puy” lace have been joined together with hand stitching.
This piece was found in France and is in excellent condition considering its antique (100+ years) age.
